For over 40 years I've had the privilege of working with adults seeking assistance for resolving a variety of personal issues, including PTSD, sexual abuse, and other trauma; grief and loss; anxiety and depression; self-care and empowerment in the world of relationships and work; life transitions-changes in relationships, roles, jobs or career; and personal growth-who am I now?...what are my beliefs, values, interests, and goals now? ...what is my life trying to become? It is a gift to be with people as they courageously face suffering and uncertainty and to witness their progress toward resolution, clarity, and personal growth. I have provided psychological services in the following settings: university counseling centers, hospitals, and private practice, and for 25 years administered predoctoral internship programs for clinical and counseling psychologists-in-training. I am committed to continually updating my knowledge and skills to provide the best psychological services possible for my clients. My practice style is flexible and depends on your preferences and presenting issues. In our first session, we would discuss what brings you in at this time and discuss ways we might work together to address your concerns.
