#1: Licensed Mental Health Counseling Professionals
Williamsburg Centre for Therapy is seeking licensed mental health counseling professionals to join its well established group practice. Comprised of four licensed professionals and one resident, Williamsburg Centre for Therapy offers a highly skilled and experienced clinical staff, a full-time billing and insurance specialist, and a full-time scheduler/receptionist. There is no minimum requirement for size of caseload but pay split is based on average number of clients seen. Our pay split is known to be one of the highest in the area and we offer 1099 or W-2 employment. Our staff meets bi-weekly to discuss office issues as well as offering time for case consultation.
While our administrative staff will help to build your client base, we do prefer a professional with a specialty (population or diagnosis specific).
Requirements:
Unrestricted mental health license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologists)
Ability to be credentialed with insurance panels.
Area of expertise or specialization
A willingness to work at least partially in office and attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
#2: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Williamsburg Centre for Therapy is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) to join its well established group practice. Comprised of four licensed professionals and one resident, Williamsburg Centre for Therapy offers a highly skilled and experienced clinical staff, a full-time billing and insurance specialist, and a full-time scheduler/receptionist. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health care services to patients of all ages, focusing on psychiatric diagnosis and medication management. This individual will guide clients’ medication needs in an effective, culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. A willingness to work at least partially in office and attend bi-weekly staff meetings is necessary.
Candidates are required by laws of the Commonwealth to have Bachelors in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certificate; Master’s degree with accreditation as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is preferred. Must have active license to practice as a nurse practitioner in Virginia through the Virginia Board of Nursing and meet all training requirements to do so. Must have been approved through Virginia Board of Nursing for autonomous practice or enter into a collaborative practice agreement with a staff psychiatrist.
Experience working with adults necessary and adolescents desired.
